Invitations

Invitations are a great way to set the tone and theme of a party before it has even started. Buy themed invites to give the guests an idea of what to expect, and provide them with some inspiration for their costumes.

Games & Activities

There are plenty of games which can be adapted to a pirate theme. However, the obvious choice has to be the treasure hunt. Hide various items in and around the house. Create maps and age them by pouring on tea, or crumpling it up and smoothing it out several times. Mark out the prizes as X on the map.
